REVISED CALL FOR PAPERS
DSE WINTER SCHOOL 2020
December 14-17, 2020

The Econometric Society, jointly with the Centre for Development Economics and the Department of Economics at the Delhi School of Economics, is now accepting contributed papers for the Delhi Winter School (WS2020) to be held from December 14 to December 17, 2020. Considering the ongoing uncertainty caused by the COVID pandemic, it is decided that the conference will be held fully online this year.

The invited speakers for WS2020 are –

  • Pol Antràs (Harvard University)
  • Pascaline Dupas (Stanford University)
  • Vijay Krishna (Penn State University)
  • Martin Uribe (Columbia University)

Each invited speaker will deliver a set of lectures. The School will also feature presentations of selected contributed papers by junior scholars. Graduate students and junior faculty are strongly encouraged to submit papers for this part of the programme. 

Submission Procedure:
The contributed paper submission process will remain open till October 23, 2020. Papers must be submitted electronically in pdf format through the Conference Maker website at
http://editorialexpress.com/conference/WS2020/  

A person may submit and present only one paper. However, a person may be a co-author of several papers submitted to the School. Early submissions are encouraged. Decisions will be conveyed by the first week of November.
Submitters of papers in WS2020 have to be members (Or take membership) of the Econometric Society. To join the Society please visit https://www.econometricsociety.org./user/register/
[For the research scholars and students from India and other low- or middle-income countries (as per WB classification), ES annual membership fee is nominal, only USD 10]

Best Paper Awards:
The Econometric Society will sponsor 4 best paper awards each worth USD 750 in different fields.

 Registration:
All selected paper presenters must get registered.

Additionally, those who are willing to attend the conference must register during the period mentioned below. There is no fee for registering. However, it is to be noted that we have limited capacity to accommodate and thereby we may be forced to restrict the number of participants.

Important Dates

  • Extended submission deadline: October 23, 2020
  • Paper acceptance decision: first week of November 2020
  • Registration period: October 15 – November 15, 2020

Submit the form latest by 9 PM (IST) on 5th December 2020. Note that your successful registration does not confirm your participation in the school. Given the technological constraints, the participants will be solicited by invitation only. The selected participants will be communicated in due course.
