Post-doctoral/Research fellowship position
at the Centre for Development Economics (CDE), Delhi School of Economics

Applications are invited for a post-doctoral position/research fellowship position, valid for one academic year, August 2016 through May 2017. Young researchers are encouraged to apply for this position. The selected applicant will be paid a stipend of INR 40,000 per month.

Eligibility: Applicants should have a completed PhD degree from Indian or foreign university, and should NOT hold a permanent academic post in any other institution. Candidates who have submitted their dissertation but have not yet had their viva can also apply.

Responsibility: The position carries no teaching obligations. The candidate will be expected to participate in the regular academic activities of the department, especially presentation and attendance in seminars and conferences, as well as interact with the faculty on research issues of mutual interest.

Application: Applicants should provide following documents:

(i) Updated Curriculum Vita
(ii) Copies of selected (not more than three) published or working papers
(iii) Research proposal (not more than 10 pages)
(iv) Names of three referees
(v) Copy of PhD certificate. Students who have submitted their dissertation but have not yet had their viva should provide a letter from Head of institution as proof of submission.
