CONFERENCE IN HONOUR OF
LATE PROFESSOR SURESH TENDULKAR

The Department of Economics in collaboration with the Centre for Development Economics at the Delhi School of Economics is organizing a two-day Conference on 19th and 20th July, 2012 to honour the memory of our colleague Late Professor Suresh Tendulkar. The main theme of the Conference is ‘Perspectives on Indian Economic Development and Policy’ with sub-themes on the following:

–  Poverty and Well-Being;
–  India and the World Economy;
–  Statistical Systems and Data Quality; and,
–  Economic Reforms and Policy Making.

These themes have been selected to reflect the research interest of Late Professor Suresh Tendulkar.
